In June 2010, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture announced a grant of $2 million to Southern Ontario Library Service to "ensure that all public libraries are able to participate in a consortium that will provide equitable access to electronic information resources for Ontarians"

Mission Statement
The Tyendinaga Township Public Library is a community based activities centre aimed at providing all residents of the Township with access to information for both leisure and the enjoyment of learning. It is the intent of the Tyendinaga Township Public Library that literacy be encouraged and promoted in all walks of life.

Your library must be presented to borrow library materials and for computer and internet usage. Lost or damaged library cards will to subject to a $2.00 replacement charge.
